Join us for a Lampwork Glass Jewelry Trunk show with artist Marlene Slothouber: Friday June 21st 12-4pm and Saturday June 22nd from 10 - 3pm Marlene will be joining the gallery as an artist and we will be showcasing her newest jewelry including 'snap-on' glass topper rings, blown glass beaded necklaces, and earrings. Marlene adds fine silver to her blown hollow glass beads to create a glittering effect. 7. Des Moines Art Center World Refugee Day Self Guided Tour

Guests of the Art Center can pick up a self-guided tour highlighting a selection of works in the collection by artists who fled their native countries under duress and have gone on to create art that enriches and expands our human capacities for growth, curiosity, and empathy.

8. Des Moines Social Club - Mini Golf 6PM - 9PM

Join us for a round of mini-golf at this artist-designed course! The course will be open from June 21 - June 30th.

9. Plein Air Painting event with Des Moines Social Club- Canvas Pickup!

Use your creative skills to paint a canvas to be displayed at the Des Moines Social Club. You pick up your canvas on Friday, June 21st and have the weekend to paint a scene in the Des Moines area. All of the completed works will be displayed in the show in the Viaduct Gallery. Note: There will be a small supply fee for participation. 10. COIL - Paper Installation by artist Molly Spain at St Kilda

11. After Hours: Art Week Edition at Art Terrarium 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM

Kicking off ART WEEK 2019 with a trifecta of talented artists bringing you photography, aromas, drawings, and paintings.

NEW ART: "I'm into this photosynthesis." Works by Jane Ryder and Cassandra Monroe Jane and Cassandra are Iowa Artists who came together just for this collaborative showing. We’re excited to share a mixed collection of photography by Cassandra, and paintings and drawings by Jane.

Jane Ryder is a feral artist. She believes creation in any positive form is the key to a complete life and eventual happiness.

Cassandra Monroe is a photographer who is inspired by the natural colors, lines and patterns found throughout our every day life. She enjoys the art of photography both professionally and personally, and is currently exploring how to express her feelings through her work.

ARRA BRAND LAUNCH: ARRA is an extension of your own aura. Everything you have experienced in your life so far, everything you are feeling today, all affect your aura. Come celebrate the new brand launch during our After Hours event. All new fragrances and limited edition art will be available.
