2. Acrylic Collage at Artisan Gallery 218 -1PM - 4PM

Discover your Creative Side with Acrylic Collage. Instructor: Award Winning Watercolor and Acrylic Collage Artist Marybeth Heikes. Explore cut paper collage using hand-painted papers to create a variety of subjects, including a floral bouquet, bicycles, barns or animals. Emphasis is on color and design. Students will complete an 8x10 project. Instructor provides: Collage papers, paper towels, support materials, reference photos, sketch paper and pencils. An 11x14 mat for finished project for framing. Cardboard for cutting papers, and water containers. Students should bring: Xacto Knife, scissors, elmer’s glue, brushes, apron or wear old clothes. 7. Bankers Trust Participates in Art Week Des Moines, Unveils Its Iowa Artists Collection

Bankers Trust has unveiled a fantastic collection of artwork by 12 artists living and working in Iowa. The Iowa Artists Collection will be on display throughout Art Week Des Moines in the Ruan Center lobby at 453 7th Street in downtown Des Moines.
